..tYkE..

I know this post is way back dated and overdue. I just couldn't bring myself to post it until now.

Our sweet baby boy passed away on January 19th. He had been suffering from T-Cell Lymphoma (skin cancer). He stood strong through chemo treatments, and various other treatments to help him heal. He was on his path of recovery when he left. He passed while in his sleep, cuddling with Cody and I.

I didn't want want to post sad things about him, cause that is not how he ever was or how I ever want to remember him. So below are some great pictures and some fun memories we have of him.

So sorry about your sweet dog! He was adorable. I hope you're doing better but I know it's difficult, they are family even if just for a short while. How old was he? Is it common for this type of dog not to live long?

Audrey.. We are doing alright, slowly getting better. Every day it gets a little easier, even though we still have rough days. He was 2 years and 9 months old. It isn't very common for them to die this young. He was supposed to live for 10 to 15 years. However, the cancer he did get is apparently common and doesn't have a high success rate. Thanks for your concern. I hope all is well with you and your family..
